- Across the parking lot and left onto the Westside Beltline
- Run past the bench when you run out of concrete onto the trail and into the woods. Come out of the clearing in the woods and go left on the Unfinished Beltline
- You will get off the trail by going right just before the Pryor St bridge. (Gate may be closed, easy to go around) Go through some cleared out property before coming out on Manford road and go left.
- Then go right at bottom of hill onto Pryor road. Shortly after, stay right on Pryor road at 3 way.
Keep 3-Way Grocery on your left and keep going towards the Lakewood Amphitheater. It is now called something else, but it always is Lakewood to me. You’ve probably passed out in the lawn seats there at some point in the last 20 years. - Turn left onto Lakewood Way SW. There are two Lakewood Ways. Take either. One runs closer to Screen Gem Studios. (Where they shot a lot of “The
MockingJay ” movies, Plus “Flight” and “Black Panther”!) - Then turn left on Lakewood AVENUE
- You will arrive shortly thereafter at the Southbend Center for Arts and Culture. Go right into the park and you will begin a mile plus journey through some parks on Southtowne Trail. Flags should be guiding you along the way.
- Turn left onto Bromack Drive. Then turn right on Browns Mill Road in front of The Golf Course. Take this to Cleveland Ave.
- You will be on Cleveland for about 2 miles until you arrive at The Aid Station Kroger!
- After refueling at the Aid Station, continue on Cleveland until you go right on Sylvan Road.
- Left onto Jefferson Ave and then stay to the right of the Jefferson Park Sign. Then right on Harris Street. Then left onto Wadley/Harold Sheats.
- Just after you cross the bridge, bear right and this will take you down and around to Main Street.
- Left on Main Street toward Lakewood Marta. Turn left onto Womack Ave at a MARTA station.
- Then take the first right and head towards Tyler Perry Studios, where they filmed the upcoming “Tyler Perry’s A Madea Family Funeral”. Be sure to take a photo in front of the big giant jumbotron at the roundabout up there. Otherwise, your finish will not count.
- Turn around after your photo taking and head back then and going left on Deshler and then left on Lee Street.
- You will pass the main gate to Ft. McPherson and head towards Oakland City MARTA station
- Go right on Dill Avenue, under the MARTA track, and then left onto Murphy Ave.
- Stay on Murphy and after a bit, you will approach the Cut-Rate Box Company, you will bear Right on a Spur of another recently cleared out BeltLine (just before Cut Rate)
- Cross Sylvan and Allene and then look for the woods you came out of, in the first mile of this race.
- Head left back into the woods and back onto the Beltline the way you came.
- As you approach Monday Night Garage on the right, you should hear clapping and whooping.
- Your race is NOT over until you come up the hill to the finish line and touch the magic table.
